This guided tour takes you above AND below ground. Travel back in time to an actual mine, one of the most famous in Southern Nevada. This excursion starts with a walking tour of the old Techatticup Millsite where the ore was brought to the surface and into the stampmill, crushed to a powder and mixed in cyanide tanks in order to separate the silver from the gold. Next, you descend almost 500 feet into the Savage Mine where you will see remnants of the gold veins that lured the prospectors here so many years ago. A stop at the museum rounds out your trip to the El Dorado Gold Mine where you can also find out about the “Hollywood connection” to the mine.

As we set off on our journey, we pass through historic Boulder City and then across one of the seven engineering wonders of the world, Hoover Dam. This is an incredible opportunity to see Lake Mead, the largest man-made lake in North America. Once in Arizona, we pass through the mysterious and spiritual Joshua Tree Forest and arrive at the Grand Canyonʼs western rim as guests of the Hualapai Native American Indian Nation. You are now 4,000 above the canyon floor and the world famous winding Colorado River. After your driver escorts you to the various points of interests for amazing photo ops, you will relax and enjoy your complimentary lunch in the beauty of these stunning surroundings.
